As a professional fighter James has to drop a lot of weight to give him an advantage over an opponent. James usually drops about 12kg (26lb) over 5/6 weeks with 3-4 kg (8lb) of it being water weight. He knows this system works to cut weight as he uses it himself, using mathematics to predict the weight loss he can achieve in the time frame.
